It was recently reported that Duncan's Beverages, which is located at Northwest Highway and Lawther Drive, would be closing its doors, and a large, 300 unit multifamily apartment complex would be built in its place. Naturally, some residents of Lake Highlands are concerned by this plan and now there will be an opportunity to do so.

According to Warren Ellis, a member of the City of Dallas Planning and Zoning Commission, a meeting has been tentatively set up for Thursday, March 22 at 1:30 p.m. However, the location of this meeting has not yet been determined. Check back on BubbleLife to learn about the location once it has been revealed.
