Wednesday, Feb. 6 was National Signing Day, and several Lake Highlands High School athletes committed to their schools of choice. You can check out some of those student athletes here, but one reader wanted Lake Highlands BubbleLife to know about an other-sports signing.
Yesterday Jack Blanton, a Lake Highlands senior, signed his letter of intent with St. Edwards University in Austin to play college soccer.
According to TopDrawerSoccer.com, Blanton plays club soccer for the Dallas Texans, is a three-star recruit, and considered UCLA and SMU, among several others, for college play. Many congratulations to Jack and his family for this accomplishment!
