Dallas Lutheran School students spent Wednesday, November 7, making a difference throughout the metroplex by serving others. This fall’s “Beyond My Front Door” program helped 21 different groups which included food banks, nursing homes, adult brain injury day care facilities, elementary and pre-schools, and building wheelchair ramps. Students were involved in planning the various projects and leadership of their peers at the service locations. The entire student body was transported all over the metroplex to help make improve the lives of others. Dallas Lutheran School believes that it is important for its students to learn about civic responsibility and service to their community and those around them.
