Hi,
I'm Mike Ellis. I've been teaching guitar for over 30 years and the method I use is the best I've ever seen. It starts with basic chords and simple songs to build your coordination and timing right from the start. Note reading is NOT required. Performing in front of others is NOT required. The 1/2 hour lessons once per week are $30 each, paid monthly.

One-on-one, I'll take you through eight one-verse beginner songs to introduce you to the twelve basic chords. After you can play those, you bring me the songs you love and I'll help you play them. If you already can play, we get right into the advanced lessons and songs. Along the way, we'll get into how music works (music theory) and advanced playing, including lead guitar if you want. Whether you want to learn rock, metal, country or most any kind of music, I can take you as far as you wish and we can have FUN doing it.
