By this time next week, the Lake Highlands Plaza at Audelia and Walnut Hill will have a completely different look. Following the completion of the new ViewPoint Bank in the plaza, the vacant buildings in the lot are being torn down by bulldozers and should be gone by the end of the week.

Although the buildings won't take long to tear down, it'll take more time to clear out the debris and separate the reusable materials from the trash. However, once it's all be cleared away, three local home builders - Highland Classic Homes, New Leaf Construction and Nobility Homes - will begin construction of new, single-family homes. This new development, which will be called White Rock Place, will be made of 17 homes.
