Area music lovers of all ages are in for a treat next weekend, March 1 and 2, when Lake Highlands High School's pop ensemble, Espree, puts on its annual concert, "Light Up the World," at 7 p.m. both nights in the LHHS auditorium.

Espree is an exclusive group of 19 young vocalists and instrumentalists, and the choral students' show has been known as a family-friendly display of sight and sound for the past 33 years. "Light Up the World" is an all-out production; the performances come complete with tunes old and new, choreography, and costume changes. These musicians get plenty of practice throughout the school year for their annual stage show, stopping in at local nursing homes, hospitals, and organization meetings to entertain.

General admission tickets for the show are $5 for children, students, and seniors, and $10 for adults. Reserved tickets are $12 at the door and $10 in advance. Contact Teresa Chilian, tchilian@sbcglobal.net, 214-395-8073 for advance ticket purchases.
