With summer almost over, it's time to get in shape with 4GFitness

The intense summer heat has forced people to stay indoors more often, limiting workouts and fitness training to those that have gym memberships. But, as summer (hopefully) begins to transition to fall, working out in the great outdoors becomes more feasible. And if you’re looking to get a jump-start after sitting around all summer, you don’t have to look very far.

4GFitness, created and designed by personal trainer Debbie Boone, is a six-week training program that will challenge anyone and any fitness level. Also, 4GFitness doesn’t only train you physically but mentally as well. The 4G’s stand for Get Up; Get Dressed; Get Going; Get it Done.

Best of all, this course doesn’t involve the use of a gym. Every workout will be done outdoors and combines strength training with plyometrics and cardio to burn up to twice as many calories in a much smaller time frame. The result is a leaner, more toned and definitely more fit you.

The 4GFitness regime requires full commitment for six weeks, with two to three classes per week. Debbie offers two sessions – an Early Bird session and a Mom & Tot session – both of which begin on Monday, September 5. All sessions, 18 in total, will take place at White Rock Lake and will last between an hour to an hour and a half.

For any questions or more information, please contact Debbie Boone at 469-487-6433 or email her at drboone33@yahoo.com. Your body will thank you afterwards, especially once you’ve learned a very critical skill: how to push yourself, physically and mentally, when no one is there to help cheer you on.
