Dallas Piano Academy is excited to announce its participation in the 9th Annual Kids Music Day, an international event that celebrates and promotes the power of music in children's lives. This year, over 1,200 locations across the United States, Canada, and beyond will host special events and activities from Friday, September 27th through Sunday, October 13th, all in honor of Kids Music Day.

Dallas Piano Academy will be joining music schools around the globe in supporting this initiative, which is spearheaded by Keep Music Alive, a national nonprofit organization. Through their annual Kids Music Day and Teach Music Week programs, Keep Music Alive is dedicated to helping kids and adults experience the educational, therapeutic, and social benefits of playing music.

In celebration, Dallas Piano Academy is hosting five exciting showcase recitals this weekend, highlighting the incredible talent and progress of its young musicians. Families are invited to attend and support these budding artists while learning more about the importance of music education.

Kids Music Day is backed by a host of celebrity ambassadors, including Julie Andrews, Jack Black, Pat Benatar, Kenny Loggins, and many others who are passionate about music education. This year’s event is also supported by major music industry brands, such as Alfred Music, CASIO, Conn-Selmer, and Remo Percussion, who are all committed to inspiring the next generation of musicians.

“We are thrilled to be part of this wonderful event,” said Lisa Emmick, owner of Dallas Piano Academy. “Music has the power to change lives, and through Kids Music Day, we can help ensure that more children have access to music education and all the incredible benefits it brings.”
