Parents with children in school know that the learning process has changed significantly since they were in school and sometimes it leaves parents dazed and confused. But, parents stay ahead of the curve by attending "Parents Step Ahead" at Lake Highlands High School on Tuesday, January 24 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Parents Step Ahead is a free event that will have seminars on Understanding Financial Literacy and the Pathway to Graduation. The event includes dinner for attendees and a Community Resource Fair. The main purpose of all this is to recognize, educate, enable and empower parents to take a proactive role in the educational and personal development of their children.
