For families with young children, Flag Pole Hill will be the place to be on the afternoon of Saturday, June 2. The Miracle Players Foundation is having its second annual Peace, Hope & Butterflies festival from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. and 100-percent of the proceeds will be given to Children's Medical Hospital.

Aside from the main spectacle - the release of hundreds of butterflies into the afternoon sky - there will be plenty of other activities to entertain the kids. The event planners have prepared a rock climbing wall, bounce house, petting zoo, glamor shots, face painting, balloon animals, cotton candy, arts & crafts and other live entertainment.

Of course, like any good festival, there will be plenty of snack foods to munch on, including cotton candy, popcorn and snow cones in case it gets really warm on Saturday.

Tickets for these attractions are sold for $1 apiece but parents can get 20 tickets for $15 or get unlimited tickets for $25. To learn more, check out the event's Facebook page.
