Student patrons of the Audelia Road Library pitched in on Thursday, December 1, to prepare the library's landscaping for winter. Under the guidance of City Forester Karen Woodard and Audelia Road Library Friends Outreach Coordinator Janice Fowler, students mulched parking lot trees and library entry areas and learned about the benefits of mulch in protecting roots and retaining scarce moisture.

Audelia Road Library Friends sponsors after school programming for students as part of its community outreach activities.
