Austin Aeschbacher from Skyview Elementary School, was awarded the Texas PTA Elementary Teacher of the year for 2015. Austin teaches Music, and served as the PTA Secretary this past year. He was chosen because he not only shines as a classroom teacher, but he also shines as an integral part of Skyview’s PTA. Austin's partner teacher and mentor, Stephanie Miller (also the Skyview PTA President for 14-15) nominated Austin for this award. Marni Kaner, RISD Council President, was honored to introduce him and present his award. Mrs. Miller noted about Austin, "Not only has he supported the many events and programs our PTA provides for our school, but he has also begun working with another parent and our community to create the first ever harmony garden in Richardson ISD."  RISD Council of PTAs is proud to have teachers like Austin in our schools.
