Registration for the Museum of Nature & Science’s popular Spring Break Discovery Camp has been extended through the weekend. Kids grades K - 6 can enjoy hands-on experiments, crafts and more while learning about oceans, dinosaurs, planets, countertop chemistry and other exciting topics March 12-16.  See below for Spring Break Discovery Camp details. Plus, staycationers of all ages can find plenty to do at the Museum over Spring Break March 10 - 18. Highlights include daily live stage shows such as the shockingly cool Electric Theater and the explosively entertaining Fire & Ice experience; daily Planetarium shows; the newly opened Flying Monsters IMAX® film; the Planet Shark: Predator or Prey exhibition; Girl Scouts of America (GSA) Cookie Box Creations; shark dissections; live shark feedings.

Monday: Ocean Explorers
From the depths of the ocean to the crest of the wave crashing onto land, discover what lurks beneath the water's surface, ocean science and underwater ecosystems.

Tuesday: Digging and Dinos
Buried in the earth are fossils and artifacts that tell us about life before our time. Explore the study of paleontology and archeology as you unearth the past.

Wednesday: Out of this World
A vast sky with stars, planets, the sun and moon lies overhead. Engage in hands-on activities to find out more about the universe around us and our planet earth.

Thursday: Bio Science
You and I are living organisms, so are our pets, bugs, trees and even microscopic life we can't see! Learn more about biology and the study of life and living organisms.

Friday: Countertop Chemistry
Have you ever helped bake a cake in the kitchen or watched a fireworks show? Discover the science of chemistry through exciting experiments.
