When doing yard work, it's pretty commonplace to encounter weeds, worms and bug larve in the ground. However, two people working in the backyard of a Lake Highlands home found something much more interesting: a human skull.

The house is located right alongside White Rock Creek and Olive Shapiro Park. A Dallas County medical examiner's office official confirmed that the skull was of human origin and removed it for identification. There is some possibility that the skull may be connected to other remains found in the area back in February 2010.
