It's a battle for the top of District 9-5A standings on Wednesday, March 28 when the Lake Highlands baseball team (11-7-1) plays host to the Jesuit Rangers (11-6-1) at home. The winner of this game will take sole possession of first place but regardless, the remaining teams in the district lag far behind these two.

So far this season, both teams are perfect in district play. The Wildcats have four batters leading the charge with at least 10 RBIs, and they're lead by Colton Bradley who has 19. Hudson Taylor and Michael Ketchmark lead the team with 24 and 26 hits, respectively, and are tied with 14 RBIs.

The team will bring out three-year old Sadie Bono, who was born with Pfeiffer Syndrome, to throw the first pitch for the Varsity game. Attendees of the game will also have an opportunity to give a contribution to the Children's Craniofacial Association; in addition, 10-percent of the concession stand sales will also benefit the CCA.
