About halfway through the season, both the Lake Highlands baseball and softball teams are playing well and cruising. The baseball team is second in District 9-5A while the softball team is in first and is undefeated so far through the season.

The Lake Highlands baseball team trails only Jesuit in the district and both are tied with three wins in district play. The Wildcats are currently sitting at a record of 10-7-1 and are 3-0 in district. Hudson Taylor leads the team with 19 hits while Colton Bradley is tops with 18 RBIs.

As well as the baseball team is doing, the softball team is in a league of its own. The team is currently 12-0 overall and is 4-0 in district play. Even more impressive is the fact that seven of the team's victories have been shutouts. All but two of the games have been won by double-digit figures.

The Lake Highlands baseball team has 11 more games in their season while the softball team has eight. Be sure to go to at least one of their games to see some great baseball and to show support for the teams.
