Lake Highlands BubbleLife first reported it and it's still happening! Ukuleles are the big trend in music, and you will hardly hear a TV commercial that does not have a ukulele in the background.

Lake Highlands is home to the only ukulele specialty store in Texas. Located at 718 N Buckner, Ste 324 (the building behind the Green Spot), UkeLady's Music Store is cleverly tucked inside of Keep U-N Stitches, another well-known Lake Highlands business. The store is owned and managed by Noel Tardy and Gina Volpe.

Free beginner lessons are offered  at 10:00 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month. Also, there is a Song Circle on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.
