Come out and join For the Love of the Lake in their monthly cleanup of White Rock Lake - the Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce-Up, which is scheduled for Saturday, February 11. White Rock Lake has been around for 100 years and it is only through efforts like this that the park stays clean and usuable for future generations.

The clean-up starts early at 8:00 a.m. at the FTLOTL office located at the Casa Linda Plaza. Volunteers will pick up their cleaning supplies and will be treated to a hearty breakfast to ensure plenty of energy during the clean-up. Food will be provided by Another Broken Egg Cafe; Starbucks will provide the coffee, and Oaks Farms Dairy will bring the orange juice and chocolate milk. Rain Fresh bottled water will be provided to keep everyone hydrated throughout the Spruce-Up.

All the cleaning equipment will be provided for, so all that is needed are the volunteers. There will be trash bags, recycling bags, reach-it tools and gloves.
