North Texas Giving Day, the largest giving day in the nation, is back on September 14, 2017! In eight years, North Texas Giving Day has generated $156 million for the community. Learn more about some of the thousands of participating nonprofits here on BubbleLife from now until Giving Day. Read more about today's featured nonprofit, Klyde Warren Park below.

Along the sprawling 5.2-acre Klyde Warren Park, a young girl climbs up the hills and traipses through the water features with a new friend as they pretend to hike Mount Everest and forage through the Amazon. The girls’ imaginations grow as they climb through the spider web jungle gym and watch over their city, pretending to be super heroes. Stories like these happen every day in a place like Klyde Warren Park, a vibrant central location that knits the urban fabric and families together through energetic and illustrious activities.

While the park ensures that 1,300 activities come at no cost to the public every year, this isn’t without the operating foundation working closely with dozens of community partners and sponsors to offer beloved opportunities. The privately funded Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation manages and operates Klyde Warren Park, the centrally located green space where the community can congregate and create memories. Klyde Warren Park enriches the lives of park patrons, bridges the surrounding neighborhoods and the region's multitude of cultures and remains active through free programming and educational opportunities each year.

This year during North Texas Giving Day, when you donate to Klyde Warren Park long-time supporter, and food truck enthusiast Jon Wagner will match every donation up to $20,000. Despite its financial needs, Klyde Warren Park is dedicated to creating an enjoyable atmosphere where everyone feels and is seen as an equal. As the park excitedly approaches its fifth year in Dallas, the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation is even more dedicated to increasing the quality and frequency of programming to provide ample education and unparalleled experiences for every individual in the community. With your help on North Texas Giving Day, we can double the impact of our $20,000 matching gift and increase the fun as we explore new ways to enjoy the exclusive opportunities that Dallas has to offer.
