With summer temperatures still soaring, the City of Dallas has decided to move "It's My Park Day" from Saturday, September 8 to Saturday, October 6. City officials are hoping that the days will have become cooler by that time. The event will still take place from 8:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m.

Any participating resident that has already registered for "It's My Park Day" will not need to re-register for the October 6 date. The current registration will roll over to the new date. If any resident or organization registered a clean-up at a location and is unable to make the October 6 date, please contact Jeremy McMahon (jeremy.mcmahon@dallascityhall.com) so that no maintenance crew will be scheduled for that location.

For anyone that hasn't registered but would still like to, the new registration deadline is Thursday, September 27.
