Healing Hands Ministries will be putting on a special Mother's Day event on Friday, May 11 called "Hearts & Hands Tablescapes Luncheon" at the Wilshire Baptist Church in Lake Highlands. The money raised for this event will go towards the women and children programs of Healing Hands Clinic.

The keynote speaker for the event will be a Senior Advisor on Women's Issues for former First Lady Laura Bush. After the presentation and lunch are over, attendees will have the option to bid on the tablescapes that will be decorating the luncheon. Better yet, the Healing Hands Ministry Board has pledged to match the first $15,000 in gifts to the Hearts and Hands Luncheon.

Tickets for the luncheon are $40 per person. The event organizers are looking for designers, businesses, entertainers or any interested participants to design the tablescapes. There is no entry fee to do a tablescape. To learn more, contact Jane Waters (janewaters@hhmtx.org).
