The Lake Highlands Area Improvement Association will be having a general membership meeting on Monday, May 7 at the Dallas Children's Theater. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will have several key speakers, including Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings.

Rawlings will be speaking to the crowd about the latest news and happenings from city hall, especially any new information about the Lake Highlands Town Center. Another speaker at the meeting will be Dawn Dorman from the Dallas Area Rapid Transit. Dorman will be speaking about the increased security measures recently initiated by DART throughout its system.
