The Old Lake Highlands community will soon be able to celebrate their second neighborhood monument to welcome people into the Old Lake Highlands area. The new monument will be located at Peavy Road and Van Dyke Road and should complement the theme of the first monument at Claussen Drive and Northwest Highway.

The monument was scheduled to be constructed at Northcliff Drive and Lake Highlands Drive but proved to be too costly and difficult than originally anticipated. However, the Old Lake Highlands Neighborhood Association is confident this monument will become a beautiful addition to the neighborhood and a key landmark for the area.
