Dallas’ go-to-shop for jewelry design needs, Beads of Splendor has moved to White Rock Lake Shopping Center on Garland Road.  Family owned and operated, Splendor offers jewelry enthusiasts and artists an exquisite selection of semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, sterling silver and gold filled findings as well as tools and Splendor’s designer inspired jewelry.

With more than 2,000 square feet of space including a classroom for the almost daily classes, Beads of Splendor offers over 10,000 strands of semi-precious beads hand-selected from across the world by founders Diana & Harlan Thatcher and their daughters Kristin and Keeley.

“We love to touch and feel all of these wonderful stones so we can provide the best quality to our devoted clientele.” says Diana.  “We are so excited to be back on Garland Road and can’t wait for our wonderful friends to take a peek at the new shop.”

Founded in 1995, Splendor in the Grass was originally a gardening focused boutique located in a small house across from The Arboretum.  Splendor relocated to Lakewood Shopping Center in 2001 as a gift gallery, where Diana’s finished jewelry pieces inspired others to get creative.  Now open on Garland Road, Beads of Splendor has returned to its roots and offers introductory, advanced and co-design jewelry making classes from basic stringing, knotting and wire working to soldering.

Beads of Splendor is located at 9047 Garland Road in White Rock Shopping Center between The Arboretum and historic Casa Linda.  Open seven days a week, hours of operation are Monday – Friday 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  For a full list of jewelry classes and trunk shows go to www.beadsofsplendor.com or call 214-824-2777
