Richardson ISD has joined up with all 53 PTAs in the district to create the Clothes Closet program. The Clothes Closet program will help students (pre-Kindergarden to High School) in need by providing school appropriate clothing and toiletries.

The district will provide the closet space for all the donations; the job of the PTAs is to fill all that space with donations, as well as gathering volunteers for the program. The Lake Highlands PTAs need your help with gathering donations.

  • Gently used/or new clothing/shoes (in-style & school appropriate)
  • New underwear and sneakers
  • Winter wear (jackets, coats, gloves, scarves)
  • Monestary contributions (made out to the RISD Council of PTAs)
  • Shopping bags with handles (for students to carry items home)

Donations can be dropped off in the box labeled "RISD Council of PTA - Clothes Closet Donation" at the participating schools.
