Jim Falk is president and CEO of the non-profit and non-partisan World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth. He will be speaking on “Evolution, Revolution and Commotion in North Africa.”

Audelia Road Library Friends begins its Fall Speaker Series on Thursday, Oct. 10 with Jim Falk, president and CEO of the non-profit and non-partisan World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth. He will be speaking on “Evolution, Revolution and Commotion in North Africa.”

The council has been bringing history-makers and leaders to the community since 1951 and supports DFW trade and economic growth.

Falk has a masters in foreign affairs/international law and Middle Eastern studies from the University of Virginia. He has led missions to Afghanistan, Morocco, India and Tunisia. He manages the Dallas Office of Protocol and coordinates the City’s relations with the Diplomatic Corps. He is the Honorary Consul for the Kingdom of Morocco for the State of Texas.

Refreshments will be served at 6 p.m., with Falk’s commentary commencing at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the library. All area friends and neighbors are invited to attend this free event.
