There are many exciting projects and events the League is looking forward to this coming year. This summer, JLD will offer a Diversity & Inclusion Summer Series for members for the third consecutive year starting in July. The JLD also recently announced its Centennial project, the Juanita J. Craft Civil Rights House, has been added as a signature project for the League. Additionally, JLD’s beloved Auction will be returning November 5, 2022, at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.

“Last year was dedicated to the reflection of our history while celebrating the women who have dedicated their service to the city of Dallas. This year, we look toward the next century to determine how we can best achieve our goals and continue to provide support for the Dallas community. We have made it our goal to revive the membership experience, redefine community, and reimagine training. We are honored to serve as the Board of Directors for the 2022 – 2023 year, and we look forward to the next 100 years of service,” said JLD President Emily Somerville.

The 2022 – 2023 Board of Directors will continue to uphold the mission of JLD throughout their terms and ensure the organization thrives while supporting the Dallas community for the next 100 years. If you would like to learn more information or get involved with JLD, please visit the JLD website.
