To kick off a month of activities to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association, friends of The Preston of the Park Cities gathered at Kendra Scott in The Plaza at Preston Center on June 2 for shopping, sips and sweets.

Kelsey Gwyn, store manager for Kendra Scott Dallas Preston Center, said that a portion of proceeds from purchases made during the event will benefit The Preston of the Park Cities Team for the Alzheimer's Association campaign, The Longest Day.

"This cause is very near and dear to us at The Preston," said Cynthia Seskes, who is heading up The Longest Day Team from The Preston of the Park Cities. "We are so appreciative to our good neighbor Kendra Scott for hosting our kickoff and joining us in the fight against the darkness of Alzheimer's this month."
