Critter Camp 2019 SPCA of Texas

Summer break will be here before you know it, and if you're looking for some summer fun for your kids, sign them up to be part of the SPCA of Texas' Critter Camp 2019! Critter Camp is the perfect setting for your child to learn more about appropriate animal care in a fun and educational environment. Registration opens today, so be sure to register online at spca.org/crittercamp.

SPCA of Texas Critter Camp is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about animal welfare, learn how to spot and report animal abuse, play with dogs and cats, make treats and fun crafts for the animals, plus enjoy awesome games, activities and team building. There will also be an opportunity for campers to watch a spay/neuter surgery (optional). Best of all, they’ll meet new friends, both two-legged and four-legged!

Critter Camp is offered in four sessions for children between the ages of 8-11 years old. Each weekly session takes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Two sessions will take place at the Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas and two sessions will be at the Russell H. Perry Animal Care Center in McKinney. Our Summer weekly camp is $295, and includes an SPCA of Texas Critter Camp shirt.

Registration is open and will close when sessions are full. Sessions fill up quickly, so be sure to register online at www.spca.org/crittercamp. Campers must bring a sack lunch from home each day and wear sturdy play clothes.
