A Lake Highlands football player has been nominated for the TXA21 Children's Medical Center Player of the Week.

LHHS senior Jesse Johnson plays wide receiver and cornerback for the Wildcats. He pulled in two interceptions in last week's game against Dallas Jesuit.

Fans can vote for Jesse until Wednesday at noon. The winner will be announced on the TXA21 High School Kick-Off Show on Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
