If your little one dreams of dancing with the 'Dettes, then be sure to sign her up for a day of twirling, tapping, spirited fun next month.
The Lake Highlands Highlandettes will host a community dance clinic for students in grades K through 8th on Tuesday, October 9th. Attendees will learn special choreography and basic tips from their favorite 'Dettes and will also put together a small performance for family at the end of the day.
The event lasts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be held in the Lake Highlands High School gymnasiums. For those kiddos that just can't seem to get enough dancing fun, there is also an option to participate in the Highlandettes' Pom Line at the beginning of the LHHS football game on October 26th. This experience will set parents back an extra five dollars, but it could be well worth it to snap some cute photos of your "'Dette in the making."
Early registration (at a lower price) ends on Friday, September 28. You can also register the day of the event, but after the 28th, the price increases. For cost and other information, click here.
