SRS Real Estate Partners announces new tenant Fireside Pies’ sixth Dallas/Fort Worth location at Creekside in Lake Highlands with expected opening early next year. The 4,230 square foot site is located in the outparcel building fronting Skillman Street. Fireside Pies currently operates four restaurants in the metroplex with plans for the Inwood Road location to re-open in October following remodeling.

"We’re proud to be partnered with Retail Plazas and Lake Highlands to create a progressive impact on the surrounding community,” said Henry Leonard, President of Fireside Pies. “We believe Fireside Pies will bring fresh energy to the intersection as well as kick off momentum for planned area improvements including new monument signage and trail connections to exclusive restaurants and retailers at Creekside. Lake Highlands is a great community with a bright future and we look forward to serving the neighborhood.”

In 2004, Fireside Pies was born to an old cottage on historic Henderson Avenue in Dallas. Today, Fireside Pies is a collection of intimate neighborhood restaurants dedicated to serving outstanding artisan pizzas made in hot wood-fired ovens, served alongside from-scratch pasta dishes, salads and desserts. Each fireside pies restaurant mirrors the character of its neighborhood so no two are the same but all evoke the soul of heartfelt rustic cooking, genuine hospitality and the joyous spirit of a great gathering place.

Creekside is an 110,000 square foot entertainment center, which was born through the redevelopment of the shopping center previously known as Skillman Abrams Shopping Center. Acquired by an affiliate of Retail Plazas in 2016 and redeveloped in conjunction with the leasing of the former Simon David/Tom Thumb grocery space to Alamo Drafthouse in 2017, Creekside is quickly becoming one of the premier entertainment complexes in Dallas. Creekside was named BEST REAL ESTATE DEAL of 2017 in the Retail/Restaurant category by The Dallas Business Journal.
