The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands recently presented the Lake Highlands Area Early Childhood PTA (LHAECPTA) with a donation of $4,000. Patrick Brown, Director of Membership for the club, presented the check to Morgan Martinez and Melissa Powell on behalf of the LHAECPTA.
The LHAECPTA is a community-wide non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of children, equipping parents of preschoolers (ages birth-six years) with valuable parenting tools and enriching the community.
The Exchange Club has appreciated the help LHAECPTA members have provided in putting on Lake Highlands Oktoberfest for the past two years, including organizing and running the Kid Zone at the event, solicitation of sponsors and finding and working with vendors. The club is excited to again partner with the LHAECPTA for this year’s Oktoberfest to be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013.
The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands is pleased to support organizations such as the LHAECPTA that greatly benefit our community.
