Enjoying dinner at Central Christian Church

Following Dr  Debbie Chisolm’s sermon, “Heart Transplant” about the needs and reasons for us to  change our heart, Central members celebrated Valentine’s Day in fellowship hall on Sunday afternoon.

The hall was decorated with hearts and flowers in pink and red.  Lisa Huisenga and Rosemary Davenport prepared a magnificent meal of chicken picata.  Chocolate and valentine themed confections crowned the dessert table. Marsha Anderson and Carolyn Shinn entertained with love songs and Kyle Willett came closest to guessing the number of sweetheart candies in the jar, winning a box of Russell Stover chocolates.

It was another beautiful day of worship and fellowship at Central.

Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is located at 4711 Westside Dr, just off Mockingbird Lane.  Sunday morning services are at 11 a.m. and all are welcome.
