There's only only a little more than a week left until the end of Autumn at the Arboretum Activities at the Dallas Arboretum. Both children and adults will be amazed and entertained by all the fun activities that the Arboretum has to offer. However, this seasonal event will close on Wednesday, November 23 so don't miss out.

The Arboretum has over 150,000 blooming flowers and foliage plantings and if that wasn't enough, there are also more than 50,000 pumpkins, squash and gourds spread out across the grounds - some in unexpected places. Pumpkins, aside from being the symbol for fall and Halloween, are also associated with the Disney tale of Cinderella, and the Arboretum has two big Cinderella-themed attractions to check out.

The first is Cinderella's Pumpkin Village, which has four houses based on the classic fairytale. The houses are made of over 1,200 pumpkins and gourds and the four iconic scenes are Cinderella's ballroom, the rooms of Cinderella and her stepsisters, and the fairy godmother's home. In addition, the Arboretum has also constructed Cinderella's Carriage - a life-size carriage that is painted white with gold detailing and measures six feet tall by six feet wide.

Children will also have a blast with the Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch, the Hay Bale Maze and Cinderella's Fairy Tale Scavenger Hunt. Meanwhile, adults can relax in the Oktoberfest Gardens and munch on smoked, Polish and traditional cooked brats while enjoying a variety of Oktoberfest beverages.
