The Lake Highlands community will get the opportunity to purchase and devour bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes when the bakery opens a location in 2012. It is uncertain exactly when and where the store will be opening. For those that can't wait for the new location to open, the nearest Nothing Bundt Cake is at Preston and Royal Lane near the Dallas North Tollway.

Nothing Bundt Cake was started in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1997 by friends Dena Tripp and Debra Shwetz. The two originally made their bundt cakes in their own homes using the freshest ingredients. Since then, Nothing Bundt Cake has opened stores in nine states and has 35 total locataions.
