On August 31, 42 people from eighteen churches representing six different denominations met together for a prayer breakfast, desperate and determined to God bring revival to our neighborhoods and our city.

Virtually all the participants wanted to know “What’s next?” And here it is:

Awaken East Dallas is announcing that there will be a community prayer walk on Saturday, October 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. All East Dallas churches are invited to join together for this event.

We are calling for all interested participants to gather together at Flagpole Hill (corner of Buckner Blvd. and Northwest Highway) at 9:00 a.m. At the gathering point, every participant will receive instructions and a Prayer Walking assignment.

You will be released at 9:30 a.m. to go and prayer walk (or drive, if you prefer) through your assigned neighborhoods. We will gather again at Flagpole Hill at 11:00 a.m., debrief, praise God for what He accomplished through the prayer walk and go home.
