Lake Highlands High School juniors and seniors still have a chance to sign up for Richardson ISD SAT Prep classes to help them get ready for the real deal. The classes are taught by RISD teachers and students will receive classroom instruction in math, reading and writing strategies.

The course will also focus on fundamental skills review, classroom strategies, time management guidance and actual test simulation. Registration forms can be picked up in the counselor's office; registration fees for RISD students is $115. Non-RISD students can also take the course but it will cost them $175.

The course is for nine weeks and will be offered at Lake Highlands High School on Mondays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
