WHAT IS THE LAKE HIGHLANDS CHAMBER?
Local businesses interested in business growth, networking, education, and Lake Highlands area economic development. Our borders are north of NW Hwy., east of 75, south of Walnut Street, and west of Jupiter. We will have monthly business meetings that will focus on technology, social media, women in business, and much more. We are here to develop and grow any and all business in Lake Highlands.
WHAT WILL THE LAKE HIGHLANDS CHAMBER DO?
• Provide networking and educational opportunities through meetings and events.
• Host an annual economic development summit.-Work together to solve local issues.
• Support entrepreneurs.
• Liaise with the City of Dallas Economic Development Department.
WHAT OPPORTUNITIES DO WE FACE IN LAKE HIGHLANDS?
• Years of decline in Lake Highlands retail business centers.
• Low daytime work force population needed to support retail and restaurants.
• Need for expansion to attract quality businesses to the Town Center and LBJ/Skillman.
• Lack of local focus in the Dallas area chamber groups.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
• You join! (MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION IS HERE)
• Organization planning is underway. Get your membership active and lend your voice to discussion.
• Charter member businesses need to join and pay their membership fees and you’ll receive member benefits.
