Football fans across the nation are eagery awaiting the start of the 2012 season, but the Lake Highlands community won't have to wait long to get their first look at the 2012 Wildcat squad. The annual Red/White football game will be happening on Saturday, May 5 at Wildcat/Ram Stadium and no one will want to miss it.

The pregame will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the actual kickoff will be at 1:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased the day before at the Lake Highlands High School entry foyer or at the stadium the day of. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students.

Last season, the Lake Highlands football team finished the season with a 5-6 overall record but snuck into the playoffs as the fourth seed from District 9-5A. However, the Wildcats were blown out in the first round (UIL Bidistrict) by Rowlett, 53-14.

However, this is the start of a new year with new faces on the team, so come on out and support and cheer for the Lake Highlands football team on Saturday, May 5!
